A Dance My Generation! (Táncolj, Generációm!) egy hologram installáció, ami azt mutatja be, hogyan próbálok tudatosan elkerülni mindent, ami esetleg traumát okozhat. Úgy gondolom, hogy ez egy kollektív probléma, amellyel a generációm küzd. Gyakran érezzük magunkat elszigetelten, elidegenedve mindentől, ami valódi.
Dance My Generation! is a hologram installation about my experience of purposefully avoiding things that have the potential to cause trauma. I believe this is also a collective problem my generation is facing. We often feel disconnected, alienated from everything that is real.
A táncoló karakter szimbolizálja azt, amikor zenehallgatással és youtube videókkal terelem el a figyelmemet, miközben olyan egyszerű feladatokat végzek, mint például fogmosás. Így próbálom elkerülni, hogy mélyebb gondolatokba merüljek.
The dancing character represents me when I use music and dumb youtube videos to keep my mind distracted while doing the simplest tasks like brushing my teeth, only to prevent myself from thinking.
2023 februárjában az interneten kezdtem tanulni a Blender program használatát, hogy elkészülhessen ez az installáció.
I started learning how to use the Blender program online in February 2023 in order to create this installation.
